TOYOTA Motors Philippines (TMP) on Friday backed the proposal to extend by two years the compliance period for Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) program so participants can meet the volume requirement under the program.
"Two years is enough for us to be able to recover from the losses that we have during the past years or to comply with the volume requirement," TMP First Vice President Rommel Gutierrez said at The Manila Times' "Turbocharging the Local Motoring Trade" forum.
