TRUE to its mandate, the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) hailed the outstanding micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that were assisted under the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (Set Up), one of the flagship programs of DoST that empowers MSMEs to level up.

In 2021 alone, 507 MSMEs received assistance and some 3,000 workers found employment, contributing to the upliftment of the said local enterprises, especially during this time of the pandemic, announced DoST Undersecretary for Regional Operations Sancho Mabborang in an interview.
