SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Wednesday supported the resumption of contact sports activities in the National Capital Region and other areas under Alert Level 2.

As per IATF-EID guidelines, contact sports are now allowed in areas under Alert Level 2. But organizers must secure permission from the LGU where the games will be held and ensure the safety of the athletes, spectators and everyone involved in the event. The Metro Manila Council has already formulated guidelines to ensure the safety of the games)," Go, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, said in a statement.
