Pioneering efforts on engineering education, the Batangas State University (BatStateU), through its Center for Innovation in Engineering Education (CIEE), successfully hosted its 1st International Conference on Innovations in Engineering Education (ICIEE) with the theme 'Engineering Educators: Active Drivers of Innovation' held virtually via Zoom Webinars on November 10 and11.

With 783 participants representing 50 local higher education institutions (HEIs) and 12 international institutions, universities and professional organizations, the conference served as an engaging platform for academicians, researchers, and educators to convene and spark intellectual discussions, refresh perspectives, and share expertise, best practices, and experience that will benefit the academe, industry, and pertinent government bodies, along with other key sectors involved in nation- and world-building.
