Marriott's virtual run helps Filipino children

MARRIOTT Worldwide Business Councils (MWBC) Philippines holds yet another Run To Give, virtually for the second time around. This year, all Marriott properties in the Philippines — Clark Marriott, Manila Marriott, Sheraton Manila, Sheraton Manila Bay, Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo and two new properties that are soon to open, namely Sheraton Cebu Mactan and Four Points by Sheraton Puerto Princesa, Palawan — come together online to run with a bold attempt to generate P1 million for the Marriott Associate Welfare Fund and its partner beneficiary, the Save The Children Philippines.

Run To Give (RTG) is a Marriott International-initiated charity run that is simultaneously conducted in Asia Pacific as part of its Take Care programs. While it may be true that the pandemic has been holding the world captive from routines such as marathons and meets that have been canceled indefinitely, the MWBC Philippines continues to pursue ways to extend help in the best ways it can; thus, the virtual RTG.
