Militant lawmakers slam 'planted' evidence in Quezon City police raid

MILITANT lawmakers slammed the Philippine National Police (PNP) for allegedly planting evidence that would link them to the communist movement in the Philippines during a series of raids that led to the arrest of six suspected rebels in Quezon City.

Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate, deputy minority leader at the House of Representatives, said the evidence was a 'dirty tactic' of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) to align the Makabayan bloc and its members like his party and the Gabriela Women's Party with the rebels.
