Filipinos urged to buy local food products

Industry stakeholders are appealing to Filipino consumers to patronize local food products this coming holiday season to help boost the country's economic growth.

Likewise, stakeholders said the government should extend support to local producers as the surge of pork imports can threatens the country's food safety and security.
