Meralco compliant with franchise provisions, public assured

THE Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) assured the public that it 'has always been compliant with the provisions' in its franchise.

It issued the statement after Deputy Speaker and Sagip Rep. Rodante Marcoleta sought a congressional review of the power distributor's franchise amid continued power rate hikes.
