This child of entrepreneurs always dreamed of carving out a niche in business. Her new venture, specializing in fine meats, shows that she's off to a promising start.

IF Ericka Dacumos, co-owner of Meatropolis Gourmet Meatshop Co., isn't able to produce a curriculum vitae when asked, she really doesn't need one. With refreshing candor she says: 'To be honest, I've never made one before. I'm a college undergraduate, who studied psychology at Manila Doctors College. But I never really excelled in school because I knew that I wanted to pursue [my own] business from the start.
