DR. Nerissa Mendoza-Gerial is a registered nurse with many qualifications. She is a doctor of philosophy in nursing education, a service eligible career and currently, a deputy executive director for nursing services at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute. She is also the founding president of the Urologic Nurses Association of the Philippines.
Recently, Gerial was bestowed the Outstanding Cost Effective Officer award by the Career Executive Service Board of the Philippines under Resolution Number 1606, signed by its Chairman Alicia de la Rosa-Bala and other members of the governing board.
