THE government turned over 283 permanent housing units to families displaced by Super Typhoon "Yolanda" eight years ago in Mayorga, Leyte, the Office of the Cabinet Secretary announced on Tuesday.
Through the efforts of the National Housing Authority (NHA), Task Force Yolanda and provincial officials, the housing units were formally awarded to the qualified beneficiaries on Nov. 5, 2021.
