Mayor Sara fires information officer

DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has fired her public information officer, Jefry Tupas, following the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency's (PDEA) buy-bust operation at the controversial beach party in Davao de Oro's Mabini town over the weekend.

In a statement on Tuesday, Duterte-Carpio said that Tupas was terminated a day after the raid on Saturday night.
