EXECUTIVE orders issued by local government units (LGUs) lifting the mandatory use of face shields are legal, according to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año.
Año made the remark after Palace spokesman Harry Roque reacted to Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso's directive against the continued use of face shields in public, saying this is considered "null and void" since it should be the Executive branch that should first make such an order.
