Fire razes hundreds of houses in GenSan

A huge fire that hit a crowded coastal community in General Santos City destroyed hundreds of houses and other structures on Wednesday.

Village officials said the affected houses might number 500, but Mayor Ronnel Rivera stated that reports say 300 to 600 houses have been lost.
