2 soldiers killed in clashes with insurgents in Negros

BACOLOD CITY: Two soldiers were killed while four others were wounded during two encounters with about 25 members of the New People's Army (NPA) on Wednesday in Sitio Tiyos, Barangay Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.

The two soldiers who died were identified as Cpl. Biencent John Trero and Pfc. Cesar Ian Eleuterio.
