Lifting of face shield policy eyed

THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said on Thursday it was contemplating on totally lifting the requirement to wear face shield as Covid-19 cases continue to decline.

'We at the DILG would recommend to the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases) to ease the policy of wearing face shields,' DILG Undersecretary and spokesman Jonathan Malaya said in a public briefing.
