THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said on Thursday it was contemplating on totally lifting the requirement to wear face shield as Covid-19 cases continue to decline.

"We at the DILG would recommend to the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases) to ease the policy of wearing face shields," DILG Undersecretary and spokesman Jonathan Malaya said in a public briefing.
