A P1.65-billion digital connectivity project has been launched to help bridge the digital divide in the country, according to the US Embassy in the Philippines.
The Information Office-Public Affairs Section (IO-PAS) of the Embassy said the US Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the five-year Better Access and Connectivity (Beacon) project to promote economic growth through better information and communications technology (ICT).
