PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar ordered the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) to start the summary dismissal proceedings against a police officer allegedly involved in kidnapping and possession of illegal drugs and weapons.
Reports revealed that Pat. Josen Niño Ramos, a member of the Drug Enforcement Group (DEG), was arrested with three other accomplices, identified as Conrad Hiro Liwanag, Ryan Joshua Turla, and Oliver Asentista, for allegedly kidnapping a Chinese. Liwanag, Turla and Asentista are criminology graduates and batchmates of Ramos.
