Azkals U23 ends Asian qualifiers campaign winless

THE Philippine Azkals Under 23 (U23) team ended its Asian Football Confederation U23 Asian Cup qualifiers campaign without a win after bowing to Timor Leste, 0-1, at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore on Sunday evening.

Frustrating was the result for the Filipinos, who had the possession for the most part and took more shots than the Timorese.
