I don't know about you, but this digital way of life we've all had to adapt to feels like it suddenly took the machinations of a rocket ship and lifted off before I could even get my seatbelts on. It has definitely caught me with one Zoom or FB or GoogleMeet event after another with hardly any time for lipstick retouches.

Then again, never mind that I looked pale in several virtual get-togethers (I must stop munching in front of my laptop as if I were watching a movie). What's important is the fact that we are all moving forward despite this lingering, overstaying and ever unwelcome pandemic, and — as The Manila Times called for on our 124th anniversary this month — "Let (ting) the future begin!"
