146th Malasakit Center opens in Las Piñas City

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go on Wednesday led the opening of the country's 146th Malasakit Center at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center in Las Piñas City — the first in the city and the 30th in Metro Manila.

Go is the principal author and sponsor of Republic Act 11463 or the 'Malasakit Centers Act of 2019.' The legislation mandates that all hospitals run by the Department of Health (DoH) must have a Malasakit Center.
