VICE President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo's advice to voters to accept the money which political candidates will give on election day but vote according to their conscience did not sit well with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) even as the presidential candidate said her words were "reposted with no context".
In a virtual meeting with domestic workers on Tuesday, Robredo, who is running as an independent in the May 2022 elections, was responding to a question on what advice she would give when a voter is offered cash.
