Govt urged to probe top plastic polluters

GREENPEACE Philippines on Tuesday urged the government to scrutinize the country's top plastic polluters' false sustainability claims amid the persisting plastic pollution.

Based on Break Free from Plastic's 2021 global Brand Audit Report, Coca-Cola Co., Universal Robina Corp., Nestlé, Procter & Gamble and Mondelēz International are the top plastic polluters in the country.
