THE French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP) together with the French Embassy to the Philippines and Micronesia has presented "Behind the Cuisines," a two-day virtual event that explored the current situation of the food and beverage (F&B) industry in the Philippines as well as support French and Filipino restaurateurs, food retailers, distributors and local farmers who have been adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Behind the Cuisines" featured a webinar with the theme "The changing phases of the food and beverage industry: Defining the new food normal." The highlight of the first day was a series of high-level online conversations from key individuals in public and private sectors to inform everyone about the currlent state of the F&B industry in the country, key insights and practices presented by leading companies and prominent market trends.
