AS the low pressure area (LPA) southeast of Leyte remains embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), another LPA was spotted off Dipolog City, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.
The first LPA was estimated at 75 kilometers (km) off Tacloban City, Leyte past 3 a.m. and was embedded along the ITCZ while affecting areas in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, according to Pagasa weatherman Joey Figuracion.
