NBA opening day overreactions

THE NBA has opened its 75th season, and for hoops fans, this is the gift that keeps on giving. There will be countless arguments for the top 75 players of all time (much maligned Dwight Howard is getting snub sympathy). As with every season debut, there will be reactions and overreactions. Not to blame the fans and pundits. They are just way too excited.

Side note: For almost a decade, Dwight Howard has been the most dominant big man in the NBA, bar none. Because of his recent experiences as a journeyman, and his seemingly goofy demeanor of late, it seems to have affected how people remember him. Howard is not at all similar to Javale McGee just because he is a big man who fools around.
