CSC: Barangay officials entitled to special eligibilities

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) is encouraging barangay (village) officials to apply for special eligibility to enable them to qualify for appointment to positions in the career service.

The Barangay Official Eligibility (BOE) may be granted to elective barangay officials such as Barangay Captains, Sangguniang Barangay Members (kagawad), Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons, as well as appointed Barangay Treasurers and Secretaries.
