Bersamin recommends CoA chief for SC post

RETIRED Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin recommended Commission on Audit (CoA) Chairman Michael Aguinaldo to fill the vacancy at the Supreme Court arising from the forthcoming retirement of Associate Justice Rosmari Carandang.

In a two-page letter to Chief Justice and Judicial and Bar Council Chairman Alexander Gesmundo, Bersamin said that Aguinaldo is fully qualified for appointment as an associate justice of the high court.
