DepEd pushes for stronger literacy, numeracy initiatives for learners

Amid the crises faced by learners, the Department of Education (DepEd) continues to promote literacy and numeracy of learners through the Brigada Pagbasa program in collaboration with various organizations, including E-net Philippines, Educo, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. and Save the Children.

Brigada Pagbasa aims to cultivate a culture of reading among learners and help those who need further assistance in developing their literacy and numeracy skills.
