Strengthening program for coop banks eyed

A program to strengthen for cooperative banks is now being considered by regulators, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

'The need for a similar program for cooperative banks is under consideration,' he said in a briefing on Wednesday when asked about the likelihood of a cooperative bank strengthening program.
