Duterte names new chief legal counsel

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Jesus Melchor Quitain as his chief presidential legal counsel, Malacañang said Tuesday.

Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said Quitain replaced Salvador Panelo, who resigned to run for senator in the 2022 national elections.
