THE National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) ensures food security and safety of all consumers, as the meat industry overcomes the uncertainties and complexities that are happening around us.

Dr. Jocelyn Salvador, NMIS executive director, leads the 49th year anniversary celebration today, October 18, with a renewed commitment of providing technical assistance to meat establishments and protect the meat consuming public.
