Gov. Daniel Fernando appealed to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to place Bulacan province under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) category after a decline in Covid-19 cases was recorded in the province.
According to Fernando and based on updated data from the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit of the Provincial Health Office, Bulacan's recovery rate as of Oct. 13, 2021 was at 97 percent or 77,862 recovered Covid-19 cases out of 80,096 confirmed cases.
