Coast guard leads mangrove planting in Cavite

NOVELETA, Cavite: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) celebrated its 120th founding anniversary with a mangrove planting initiative at the mangrove protected area in Barangay San Rafael 4 on October 10, Sunday, with the local Environment and Natural Resources office here.

A total of 2,500 seedlings and mangrove propagules were planted in the area for two days with the River Ranger Noveleta, Marine Environmental Protection Command, PCG Cavite and the Municipal Environment Regional Office (Menro) of Noveleta.
