BANGUED, Abra: The race for the 2022 elections in Abra is shaping out to be a battle between two influential political families in the province.

Incumbent Gov. Maria Jocelyn Valera-Bernos will be running for vice governor to pave the way for the gubernatorial aspiration of her father, incumbent Bangued Mayor Dominique Valera.
