LEGAZPI CITY: Three students in Placer town, Masbate province died on the spot after being hit by a 10-wheeler truck while conducting research for their modular class in a "piso net" shop on Sunday afternoon.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol Philippine National Police regional spokesperson, identified the victims as 16-year-old Christy Franciso, an 11th grade student; 13-year-old Jelian Tamayo, a 7th grade student; and 10-year-old Ferdalyn Cañete, a 5th grade student. All of them were residents of Barangay Matagantang in Placer.
