Mental health in the time of Covid-19

Filipinos are said to be resilient in the face of disasters. But with no end in sight to the Covid-19 pandemic, cracks in the national psyche are showing given the continued struggle to cope with isolation, job losses, deaths of loved ones and missed opportunities.

Maria Paz Manaligod, a registered psychologist at Miriam College, pointed out that physical health should not be the only concern as well-being overall also includes a person's mental state.
