Immunization programs worldwide were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, a UN agency noted, particularly raising the risks for children in need of protection from other diseases.

Millions of children were unable to get protective jabs because access to health services were curtailed, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (Unicef) said.
