MIDSAYAP, North Cotabato: In a program held last Thursday, North Cotabato Gov. Nancy A. Catamco herself led the distribution of P7.8 million worth of farm inputs to farmers in Tulunan town. The farm inputs distributed during the ceremony included certified rice seeds, inorganic fertilizers, rubber seedlings, banana plantlets, crop protection insecticides, jetmatic pumps, laminated sacks, hybrid corn seeds, collapsible drier, feeds, 20 modules mallard ducks, 200 goats and tilapia fingerlings. Meanwhile, volunteer frontline workers which includes 104 village healthcare workers, 58 village nurses, and 56 direct care workers each receive P4,200, totaling P915,000. Catamco expressed her gratitude for the sacrifices of the volunteer workers in aiding the local government units in their campaign against the coronavirus. Tulunan Mayor Reuel Limbungan also thanked the provincial government of North Cotabato for the services received by his constituents which would greatly alleviate their livelihood amidst the pandemic. Also present during the program were Provincial Administrator Efren F. Piñol, Third District Rep. Jose Tejada, Integrated Provincial Health Office Staff Benjamin Obrero, and other provincial officials.
