Saso at joint 3rd after first round

YUKA Saso of the Philippines carded a strong four-under 67 to finish the opening round of the Cognizant Founders Cup at joint third place on Friday (Philippine time) at the Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell, New Jersey.

Saso, the reigning US Women's Open champion, got off to a good start as she finished a bogey free round with four birdies.
