NPA rebel killed in Davao del Norte clash

DAVAO CITY: An alleged member of the New People's Army (NPA) operating in Talaingod town in Davao del Norte was killed after a clash with government troops on Thursday afternoon.

Maj. Ronnel Legarde, spokesman of the Philippine Army's 1003rd Infantry Brigade (IB), said the slain rebel remains unidentified.
