NLEX to install more solar panels in toll plazas

An equivalent of 4,006 of trees planted or 134,232 kilograms (kgs) of carbon emission were saved by the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corp. through its solar photovoltaic power system installed in select toll plazas from 171 megawatt-hours of total energy harvested for 2020.

Record shows that the Bocaue Barrier has generated the highest carbon dioxide (CO2) emission savings with 50,618 kgs or equivalent to 1,511 trees planted.
