Digital certificates to ease foreign trips

OVERSEAS Filipino workers (OFWs) and passengers from Central Luzon and Calabarzon leaving for abroad are set to experience seamless travel as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched this week the National Digital Vaccine Certificate (VaxCertPH).

VaxCertPH is the official Covid-19 digital vaccination certificate for Filipinos inoculated in the Philippines that aims to make travel smooth for the OFWs and the international passengers as they enter their ports of destination.

SOFT LAUNCH. Health Secretary Francisco Duque III and officials of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and National Task Force Against Covid-19 lead the soft launch of the VaxCertPH program, a portal for the issuance of coronavirus disease 2019 vaccination certificates to fully inoculated Filipinos going abroad at the SM City Clark in Pampanga on Monday (Oct. 4, 2021).
