AFTER 11 years of delay, the Bicol International Airport (BIA) in Daraga, Albay is ready to start operations and receive commercial domestic flights on Friday, October 8, the Department of Transportation and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) assured.
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade led an inspection of the gateway on Sunday, October 3.
