Duterte dares Senate to bring snub order to Supreme Court

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday dared the Senate to file a complaint before the Supreme Court against his order to bar his Cabinet members from attending Senate investigations into the government's handling of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) response funds.

In his pre-recorded public address, Duterte rejected calls to withdraw a memorandum barring officials and employees of the Executive Branch from attending a series of Senate Blue Ribbon Committee inquiries.
