Before we get into the tea, let's start off with some good news.
The Korean thriller "Squid Game" was named as the number 1 show on Netflix across 90 countries. According to reports, it is poised to become Netflix's biggest series of all time. The Squid Game — which follows contestants participating in a deadly series of children's games — is recognized as a good move towards Asian representation. At mukhang kasado na rin ang second season.
Congratulations to the "Squid Game" team!
A different side of Maja Salvador

Sa local showbiz naman, pasabog ang official welcome kay Maja Salvador sa "Eat Bulaga!" Maja will host the new dance competition of Eat Bulaga called DC 2021.
Congrats to Maja sa bagong chapter ng kanyang career.

From one crowning to another, last Thursday, finally ay kinoronahan na ang bagong Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
She is Beatrice Luigi Gomez from Cebu City. Proud of her sexual orientation, Beatrice is the first openly gay winner of the esteemed title. She has previously shared that she is in a long-term relationship with Cebu-based performance DJ, Kate Jagdon.
Considered a "dark horse" in the competition, Beatrice is a 26-year-old model and athlete who advocates gender sensitivity and awareness. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Israel in December.
Congratulations, Queen Beatrice! We're excited to see the rest of your Miss Universe journey.

Finally, on Sunday night — or should we say, early morning ng Monday — the Miss World Philippines 2021 was crowned. She is Tracy Maureen Perez, who also hails from Cebu City.
Tracy is a 28-year-old industrial engineer. She impressed the judges during the question and answer portion, when she highlighted the importance of caring for family, friends, and frontliners in the middle of the pandemic.
Tracy impressed netizens as well. She fell twice during the ceremony but like a true queen, she rose from her fall and regained her poise.
Congratulations, queen Tracy!
