CHONGQING: Southwest China's Chongqing municipality has witnessed 1,493 rail-sea freight trips in the first three quarters of 2021, up 77 percent year-on-year, surpassing the 1,297 trips made in all of 2020, according to the New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co. Ltd.

The marvelous achievement is enough for observers to declare the province as the next major business hub after Xiamen, Guangzhou and Xinjiang.
