Population growth declines in 2021

The country's population is seen to reach 110.9 million at the end of 2021 as the growth rate slowed this year.

'Despite the rise in absolute numbers, the population grew gradually to 1.31 percent by the start of 2021,' the Commission on Population and Development (Popcom) said.
