ZAMBOANGA CITY: One policeman was wounded in an ambush in the southern Philippine province of Sulu on Friday evening, a report said.
According to the report, armed men attacked a police patrol in the village of Tagbak in Indanan and wounded a member of the 1402nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion. At least six policemen, led by Pat. Sanaani Julmunir, were inside the patrol vehicle and headed to Maimbung town when they were ambushed at around 7:30 p.m.
